Four years is what it takes to get an 1)undergraduate degree at most North American universities and colleges. For students in northern cities such as Boston, Chicago and Toronto, this can mean struggling through four long winters of heavy snow and four-degree weather. If you'd rather get your degree without the four-degree weather, then head south to a school like the University of Miami, where the only "fore" you're likely to hear will be out on a sunny golf course.
